​Escape the Nature Center!-image

Get ready for an outdoor adventure that promises fun for the whole family!  The Allen and Alice Stokes Nature Center  is excited to announce its special spring event, "Escape the Nature Center!,"  happening on Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  This weekend is your perfect opportunity to engage with the natural world in a unique and playful way. A Half-Hour of Outdoor Fun and Adventure Perfect for adventurers of all ages, this event is designed to be an engaging and quick outdoor experience nestled within the beauty of Logan Canyon. Your group ticket covers entry to all three exciting and custom-designed stations , with each station estimated to take just 10 minutes. This means you can plan on a minimum of a half-hour of nature-themed entertainment—though your group is free to take their time, move at their own pace, and soak in the surroundings of the gorgeous canyon. The three stations will involve solving nature-based puzzles, using clues found in the environment, and learning fun facts about local flora and fauna as you work together to "Escape the Nature Center." It's a great test of teamwork and observation skills in a safe, outdoor environment. The Details You Need to Know: What:  Escape the Nature Center! An outdoor-themed adventure and puzzle challenge. When:  Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 1:30 PM to ensure enough time to complete all three stations. Where:  Stokes Nature Center, located inside the mouth of Logan Canyon. Look for clear directional signage once you arrive. Parking is available on-site but can be limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Cost:  A single ticket is $15 per group  and covers up to 6 people (covers all three stations). All proceeds directly support the center's educational programs. Tickets should be purchased in advance on the Nature Center's website to reserve your preferred time slot. Who:  Open to all ages! The activities are designed to be fun and accessible for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate outdoor footwear. Swing into Spring: Don't Miss the USU Big Bands Concert!-image

Get ready to tap your feet and snap your fingers! Utah State University is bringing the timeless energy of big band music to the Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall  for an evening of spectacular jazz. This annual concert is a beloved tradition at USU, attracting a wide audience including students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the general public. The "Big Bands" concert  is a must-see event, showcasing the incredible talent within the USU music program's Department of Music. Mark your calendars, because the show starts promptly at 7:30 PM .What to Expect The program will feature a full evening of music with two dynamic groups: The Jazz Ensemble  will kick off the night, setting the stage with their vibrant sound. The Jazz Orchestra  will close the evening, delivering a powerful performance. They will be playing a mix of mostly traditional big band music , transporting you back to the golden age of swing and jazz. The ensembles are known for their high-quality performances, which are a cornerstone of the Caine College of the Arts at USU.Tickets and Location This amazing musical experience is easily accessible and affordable for everyone.
