Winter Prep: Get Your Apartment Ready for the Cold-image

Winter Prep: Get Your Apartment Ready for the Cold   Since winter in Logan can be harsh, preparing for the colder months is essential to stay warm and save on heating costs. Here are some helpful tips for Strata residents to get their apartments ready for the cold: Weather-Proofing Windows:  Check your windows for any drafts. You can use weatherstripping or caulk to seal any gaps, which will help keep the warm air in and the cold air out. Saving on Heating Costs:  To keep your heating bills down, consider lowering your thermostat a few degrees when you're not home or when you're sleeping. You can also use blankets and warm clothing to stay cozy. Proper Thermostat Usage:  Familiarize yourself with your thermostat and how to use it efficiently. Programming it to adjust temperatures automatically can save energy. Maintenance Procedures:  In case of extreme cold, it's good to know what to do if you have a frozen pipe. Make sure you know where your main water shut-off valve is located. If you suspect a frozen pipe, contact maintenance immediately. By taking these proactive steps, you can ensure your Strata apartment stays warm and comfortable throughout the winter season.
